1. Mercer Amsterdam: the "premium streetwear" spirit

2. The Re-Run: the flagship silhouette, in several materials
The Re-Run is the retro runner with a pronounced sole and layered panels. Among this season's versions, our four favourites:
- The Re-Run Cracked, in gold cracked leather: the metallic sheen is tempered by the cracked texture, which develops a lovely patina.
- The Re-Run Leopard, leopard print: the pair that wakes up a plain outfit, for women and men alike.
- The Re-Run Americana, in aged off-white suede: a pre-worn, very soft effect for those who prefer off-white to bright white.

3. Re-Run EVO and The Re-Racer: the other lines
The Re-Run EVO carries the Re-Run spirit into a more recent line. The Re-Run EVO Nubuck comes in brown (Marron) and army green (Vert Army), two autumn shades; the Re-Run EVO White is the clean white version you wear with everything. The Re-Racer, in off-white, draws on running shoes of the past: a sleeker profile if you find the Re-Run too bulky. Expect roughly one hundred and fifty to one hundred and eighty euros a pair.
4. How to wear your Mercers, women and men
A pair of Mercers is worn as a statement piece: let it do the talking. For women, the Re-Run Leopard or Cracked lifts straight jeans and a long coat, or a knitted dress with high socks. For men, the Re-Run Premium anthracite or the EVO Nubuck brown goes with chinos, wool trousers or raw denim. Keep the rest of the outfit understated and browse our women's shoes and our men's shoes.
5. Caring for suede, nubuck and cracked leather
- Before the first wear: a colourless waterproofing spray on suede and nubuck, repeated in winter.
- Day to day: a crepe brush to lift the nap, a suede eraser for dry marks. Never water or soap applied directly.
- After rain: air dry away from the radiator, then brush; water marks often fade.
- Cracked leather and leopard: barely damp cloth, never polish.
6. Which size? Come and try them on in store
Between a thick-soled Re-Run and a closer-fitting Re-Racer, the feel on the foot changes. Better to drop by our shops on Rue des Grands Carmes, at no. 17 for women and no. 15 for men, ideally at the end of the day. Online, returns are accepted within 14 days, return shipping at your expense or free drop-off in store, with a full refund. To finish the look, the Mercer caps (Flag Cap Special, Signature Cap) are in our caps and hats, for around thirty euros.
