Men's shorts
A well-cut pair of men's shorts comes out with the first warm days: on a terrace, on holiday, at the office when the heat sets in. Our selection favours fabrics that breathe: the Leroy linen shorts, the loose-fit Hotel cotton shorts and the regular-cut Sal shorts from Selected Homme, plus the Astral linen-and-lyocell shorts from KnowledgeCotton Apparel, with zipped pockets. Straight or roomy cuts, in tones that go easily with a polo, a T-shirt or a light shirt.
How to wear men's shorts
- Linen (Leroy, Astral): light and airy, it creases a little and that is part of its charm; perfect with an open shirt or a plain T-shirt, in town or on the beach.
- Loose cotton (Hotel): the laid-back weekend shorts, a notch dressier than lounge shorts, worn with clean trainers and a light sweatshirt in the evening.
- The regular cut (Sal): for warm-weather dinners and days when shorts still have to look presentable; a tucked-in shirt is all it takes.
Expect around sixty to around a hundred euros, depending on fabric and brand.
