Men's Polo Shirt
The polo is the piece that bridges the T-shirt and the shirt: open collar, short or long sleeves, in cotton piqué, linen blend or fine knit. We pick ours from Selected Homme, Les Deux, Minimum and Gabba, in plain colours and stripes, from the everyday organic-cotton polo to the knitted polo for the evening. Expect around forty to around a hundred euros, more for the Les Deux knitted polos.
How to wear a men's polo
- Piqué or organic-cotton polo (Les Deux Pique Polo, Cran by Selected Homme): the relaxed version, tucked or untucked over straight trousers, with trainers.
- Knitted polo (Berg, the striped Dane, Emmanuel Knit Polo): the dressier one, standing in for a shirt at the office or a restaurant; take it fitted without being tight.
- Long-sleeved or half-zip polo (Relaxjack, Teller): worn on its own between seasons or under a jacket, like a light jumper.
Pair it with our men's shorts or straight trousers; finish with a cap or socks from our men's accessories.
