A white shirt, yes, but with a well-kept secret: Valerie opens at the back with a long slit, from the yoke right down to the hem, fastened with two ties that knot into little bows. From the front, it is a flawless shirt in plain 100% ivory cotton, light and comfortable to wear, with a classic shirt collar and button placket. The oversized fit with dropped shoulders adds volume without weighing down the silhouette; the long sleeves, detailed with pleats, end in wide buttoned cuffs. On the left of the chest sits a patch pocket, discreetly embroidered with ‘grace’ in tone-on-tone thread.
